Eduardo Trierveiler has a Bachelor's degree in Choral Conducting from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), having studied with Jocelei Bohrer and Vilson Gavaldão. During his bachelor studies he was in charge of the Madrigal of the UFRGS Music Department, under the guidance of Vilson Gavaldão. He was assistant conductor at the UFCSPA Choir (Federal University of Health Sciences of Porto Alegre), actively participating in the biannual concerts and in the choir and university's programming, as conductor, pianist accompanist and vocal coach. In extra activities, he was a scholarship holder in the Sarau project at Hospital de Clínicas, under the guidance of Daniel Wolf, organizing a schedule of musical performances in the hospital's recreational facilities.

Leading the Choir of the Chapecó Symphony Orchestra, Eduardo worked as a vocal coach, meeting the group's demands in local performances and festivals. In the Arte Cidadã Program he was in charge of the project's choirs, serving children and adults and also acting as a pianist accompanist for the Children's Choir of the Chapecó School of Arts.

Contributing to his formation, he participated in classes and masterclasses with Zvonimir Hacko (USA) promoted by the Institute of Culture at PUC-RS, a choral conducting seminar with Hans Peter Schurz (ALE) promoted by the Institute of Arts at UFRGS, and a masterclass with Valentina Peleggi and the OSESP Choir.

 

He currently develops an intensive schedule with the Coral Municipal Infantojuvenil de Gaurama-RS, and being mainly in charge of the Coral Municipal Vida e Canto de Gaurama-RS, he promotes a musical program, with the traditional repertoire and arrangements for female choir, having performed the concerts “Canções Memoráveis” at FRINAPE 2018 and “Elas Cantam MPB” in 2024. Eduardo Trierveiler is artistic director of FIRCAU - International and Regional Choir Festival of Alto Uruguai, a festival held by Coral Vida e Canto since 1994, with its sixth edition held in 2025.

2010-2015

UFRGS

Bachelor's degree in Music, with specialization in Choral Conducting. Having studied with Jocelei Bohrer, Vilson Gavaldão, Celso Loureiro Chaves, Fernando Mattos and Dimitri Cervo.

Considering the more than 30 years of existence and the background of this choir, Coral Vida e Canto is one of the most important choirs in the north of Rio Grande do Sul. Today, as a female choir, it has performed several performances in the community and region.

Coro da Orquestra Sinfônica de Chapecó

Acting as vocal coach, the Choir of the Chapecó Symphony Orchestra is made up of singers from the community, thus preparing performances with the orchestra and festivals in the city and region.

Main choir of UFRGS Extension choral activities, under the guidance of Vilson Gavaldão, Eduardo was in charge of rehearsals and presentations at the Institute of Arts.
